Medical Sales Specialist

Medical Technology Sales Specialist, Alberta (Based in Calgary or Edmonton) Our client is a global innovator in their niche medical market, and they are known for developing and manufacturing innovative and technically superior ground-breaking products, systems, and solutions by delivering innovation based on evidence.

Due to growth, they are expanding their sales team and hiring a driven and highly motivated sales specialist with a strong background in capital equipment and/or technology sales that possesses a powerful can-do attitude and an intense drive to succeed.

You will be responsible for delivering on measurable business sales targets by growing profitable relationships with clients and on increasing customer satisfaction within Alberta (40-50% travel is required).

You will drive sales activities by generating trial and awareness of this product portfolio and achieve/exceed sales goals and targets by: Establishing new leads, growing the sales pipeline, and implementing strategies to increase short
– and long-term market penetration.

Analyzing customer’s business needs and future opportunities and planning ways to increase business flow by providing educational avenues that ensure customer success.

Developing relationships with thought leaders and utilizing relationships to expand market share.

Studying to keep current with new technologies and products and competitive activity.

Providing recommendations for priorities and timetables, managing resources and budgets, and making projections of revenue and units for development of annual sales forecast.

Maintaining CRM system with current and prospective customer data to develop business strategies on trends, customer needs, and identifying sales and education opportunities.

If you possess a proven track record of achieving sales targets and objectives with 3-5 years’ experience selling high end capital equipment and/or digital technology… then let’s talk Compensation will include a base salary of $70-80K plus uncapped commissions with $100-125K total income at plan, .59 cents/km mileage reimbursement, travel expenses, health benefits, and all the perks.
