We are growing, and we are looking for an Associate Back-End Software Engineer for our team As an Associate Back-End Software Engineer you will: Provide top quality support and solutions to our customers throughout various business units, each using a wide range of programming languages and technologies.

Onboard and empower our business partners/customers to leverage our DevOps technology stack to realize the benefits of the CI/CD solutions we provide.

Operate within agile principles and methodology and participate in Scrum ceremonies within the squad.

Update on progress made through the task tracking tool Jira.

Participate in building best in class software solutions to drive our products, including prototyping, building, and testing new functionality.

Maintain and ensuring high quality software, with accountability for production reliability and usage.

Working with the team designing, coding, unit testing and integrating new features and functionality as defined by the PO and team.

Creative problem solving that bring software designs to life.

Completing any documentation required e.g.

Q & A, knowledge bases/technical support, business needs.

We adhere to a to an intuitive self-serve model, a large part of which is achieved via documentation.

You will bring and continuously build upon the following skills: Empathy for all our customers as you will work to truly understand their needs to provide optimal solutions.

Keen problem-solving skills and root cause analysis abilities that enable you solve issues in an efficient and effective manner.

Leverage strong verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively articulate and communicate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes to provide top notch customer support.

Monitoring of systems to proactively identify any issues and escalate where necessary Be part of initiatives to develop and improve standards, practices and methodologies.

You will be working with (or have worked with any of the following): Production support front facing to customers to support the day-to-day needs and provide excellent service.

Agile and DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features.

Knowledge or experience with SCM tools and best practices (GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Snyk, etc.) Atlassian Suite of tools such as Jira, Confluence and JSM (formerly Jira Service Desk) Ticketing applications such as ServiceNow Languages such as NodeJS, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Node.js, Python, or Microsoft .NET Framework and Core, HTML5 and CSS3.

Basic understanding of languages such as React, Redux and GraphQL.

Familiarity with REST API development principles and practical application and knowledge of modern software architectures.

Exposure to technologies such as Mongo, CosmosDB, SQL Server, Unit testing frameworks, Selenium, etc.

Docker, Cloud Foundry and Azure Kubernetes as well as other components supporting a highly automated, resilient engineering platform Open source As we accelerate our delivery of world-class experiences, we know embracing open-source technologies will help us get there.
