Job Summary We are looking for a Senior .Net developer who can write and support complex business applications.

In this role, the incumbent will work with multiple internal and external teams to design, develop and maintain software.

Essential skills for success would be a strong communicator and a collaborative team member.

Responsibilities Develop solutions to meet user requirements with focus on delivery within project timelines Design, code and test components in adherence to development standards and architecture guidelines Execute entire life cycle from specifications through to testing for technical/back-end components and modules.

Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications Troubleshoot defects and optimize for enhanced performance Participate in iterative design and code reviews Communicate effectively with co-workers in different roles: BAs, Developers, QAs and users Assist BAs in gathering technical requirements Assist QAs in testing and reviewing team work Ensure delivery of technical work to very high standard.

Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Ability to grasp business concepts driving technology requests and decisions Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a high energy, fast-paced environment Ability to meet deadlines and high-quality completion of assigned tasks 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies (C#, WPF, ASP.NET, Web Services, XML) Previous experience in distributed .NET applications Previous experience in desktop application using WPF.

Strong skills in RDBMS, database design, triggers, stored procedures and SQL scripts Strong understanding of application development methodologies Proficient in designing and developing multi-tiered business applications for high availability and scalability Experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment Knowledge of application design patterns and frameworks Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts Familiarity with unit tests, continuous integration and build processes Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Pharmacy experience and HL7 knowledge an asset.
