Position Overview: MaxSold is embarking on exciting 2023 plans to reimagine our customer experience on both sides of the marketplace, refresh the platform tech stack, and build a foundation for growth and scale.

We are looking for an experienced Engineer Manager to join the team and play a pivotal role in our growth.

As a Software Engineering Manager at, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of software engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of our re-commerce auction marketplace platform as we retool and rebuild for self-service and automation.

You will work closely with product management, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize technical projects, and will be responsible for ensuring that our teams deliver high-quality, sustainable, scalable software solutions.

Responsibilities: Build, lead, and mentor a team of software engineers, and provide technical guidance and support as needed Manage performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to help team members grow and develop their skills Work closely with product management to define and prioritize technical projects, and ensure that your team delivers high-quality, scalable software solutions that address both customer needs and business goals Work with other technology and product leadership to develop the technology vision for MaxSold’s platform Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software development aligns with overall business objectives Develop and implement best practices, strategies, and processes to improve the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing strategies, etc.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and identify opportunities to leverage them to improve the platform Qualifications & Experience: 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role Strong technical skills, with experience in building scalable, high-performance software systems Strong understanding on API integration and microservices architecture Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g.

JIRA, Scrum, Kanban) Experience effectively leading and motivating a technical team in a remote work environment Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Inclusive and Diverse Culture Here at Maxsold, we embrace our differences.
