Overview: BCLC’s two offices are located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Peoples in Vancouver and the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc territory, situated within the Secwépemc Nation in Kamloops.

Joining the Finance & Corporate services team at BCLC means you’ll be working with a dedicated group of talented professionals in Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Procurement, Business Continuity, Facilities, and Business Services.

The financial management of a complex organization including lottery operations, casino & community gaming, and eGaming business units, which collectively took in over $1.4 billion in net income last year falls within this group.

Working with revenues of well over half a billion dollars in fiscal 2019, an increase over the previous fiscal year, approximately 20% of BCLC’s total revenues which represents BCLC’s largest player base, our Lottery finance operations group is responsible for recording the gross gaming wagers and direct costs related to Lottery operations including manually recording lottery transactions, ILC funding and reimbursements, instant game management and more.

Job Summary: The Procurement Process and Reporting Analyst is the primary contact for the execution of Procurement’s transformation program (Procurement Evolution).

The role executes, tracks, and reports progress on the program to improve customer service, increase compliance, reduce costs, and reduce time to serve.

The role partners across Procurement and Finance to drive process improvements, scope digital solutions, and develop and execute KPI, dashboard and management reports.

Key Accountabilities: Leads and implements Source-to-Pay process improvements and technology enhancements.

Researches, identifies, develops and recommends system functionality that supports best business practices.

Develops and sets schedules, deadlines and work/project timelines in response to Procurement Evolution Program priorities and coordinates multiple projects within the department.

Provides regular status and issues reporting.

Tailors and customizes system generated reports for various stakeholder levels.

Proactively develops, maintains, and manages strong collaborative relationships across various stakeholder groups.

Maintains awareness of current trends within multiple systems with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.

Examines trends in information systems training, materials and techniques.

Minimum Required Qualifications: Education and Experience Diploma or Degree in a business related discipline plus certification in financial systems and support; 3-5 years related experience in a finance and/or business analysis role; Experience implementing and maintaining modules within ERP systems, including user acceptance testing and identifying systems enhancement is required; An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Technical Requirements Knowledge of variety of software applications (i.e.

Microsoft suite), data warehousing and data modeling, ERP and CM suites; Strong creative thinking ability as it relates to new product development; Project management and organizational skills; Demonstrated ability to analyze business and technical issues and develop solutions; Ability to validate proposed solutions against business needs, strategize solution; implementation and identify implementation risks; Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills; Excellent business acumen; Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills; Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Exceptional problem solving and analytical thinking/innovation.

Additional Information: Effective November 22, 2021, BCLC requires all employees to be fully vaccinated (as defined by Health Canada).
