Territory Sales Representative


This is a Full-time position in Vaughan, ON posted August 8, 2022.

Your new company Hays has partnered with a luxury food production and distribution company who are well established and respected, focusing on quality products and excellent service.

Their customer base is high-end restaurants, hotels, cruise lines and boutique stores.

This division services Western Canada from their base in Vancouver, but they are part of a much larger organization that is a global leader in foodservices.

Your new role As the Territory Sales Representative, you will responsible for the full sales cycle, acquiring new customers by making initial contact, building relationships, qualifying their needs, presenting solutions, negotiating and closing the sale.

You will also be responsible for managing the relationship with the existing customer base, providing outstanding customer service to them and growing the business.

You will be assigned a territory in Vancouver and the surrounding areas, with target customers such as fine dining restaurants, hotels and resorts, cruise lines and boutique stores.

This is a field based role, so you will work remotely spending much of your time visiting clients at their sites.

What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will at least 3 years’ B2B sales experience in the food or beverage industry.

You will be outgoing and friendly with excellent communication skills, able to quickly make connections and influence others.

You will be ambitious and results driven with a great commercial acumen, able to develop a business plan and execute it.

A positive can-do attitude, and a passion for providing best-in-class customer service are also important.

You will also be organized and detail oriented, comfortable using a CRM system to manage your day to day activities.

What you’ll get in return For the first year as you build your business, you will receive a guaranteed income of $70,000 to $100,000 depending on experience.

After that you will move to the commission based scheme which offers uncapped potential.

In addition, you will also receive a car allowance, product discounts, a comprehensive benefits package and group RRSP.
