This is a Contract position in Vaughan, ON posted December 4, 2022.

ACCOUNT MANAGER Location: Ottawa Department: Sales Reports to: Sales Director JOB PURPOSE The Account Manager is an integral role to our organization and is responsible for managing and maintaining existing client relationships and for pursuing new large enterprise accounts.

The Account Manager is responsible for interfacing between the client and Netagen’s internal team members in order to prepare and provide business sales proposals, technical solutions and account planning/forecasting.

Additional duties to include effective documentation for handoff to operations and to be a crucial component of overall client support.

RESPONSIBILITIES Achieve individual quarterly and annual sales targets as assigned.

Manage and maintain existing client relationships of large enterprise clients which includes account planning and forecasting activities for our top accounts Lead Netagen team-based approach to pursing new large enterprise accounts Provide an overview and position the customer benefits of the top Netagen vendor solutions; Avaya, Extreme, Aruba, Cradlepoint, Radware, etc.

Position Netagen services to clients: i.e.: Maintenance Services, Managed Services, Carrier Services Position Netagen implementation services (PS) to clients Develop and maintain relationships with vendor Account Managers Update weekly sales funnel and forecasts Prepare client quotations using Netagen’s CRM / Tigerpaw Prepare and lead internal Win Review sessions to effectively hand over a completed sale to operations team Assist in preparation of contracts for support and pro-services Understand and assist with vendor programs Achieve and maintain vendor sales certifications (3-4 per year) Attend vendor webinars and industry events to further technical knowledge This position may be required to perform other duties as assigned not otherwise captured in this position description.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED University or College degree in technology or business an asset 3 years experience working in a technology firm, with preference of at least 3 years sales experience Experience with commercial customers considered an asset Solid understanding of IP Networking, WLAN and UC/CC solutions Strong Microsoft Office skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel Comfortable making presentations to small groups Solid understanding of business principles Strong communication skills both written and oral Strong initiative and leadership skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Team player with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain both internal and external relationships A self starter with superior customer service and interpersonal skills.

Proficient with desktop sales aides and business communications to include but not limited to email, proposal writing, video presentations and financial analysis Interest to continually learn new technology, business trends and developments We are looking for candidates that are serious about their careers and hold a high level of enthusiasm for building a strong successful company, as we do.
