The Role : The Global Events Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the trade and events strategy and execution within the global team with the goal of acquiring new clients.

The ideal candidate will be able draw on their broad range of experience and apply varied approaches to their marketing plans to effectively deliver tangible results.This role reports into the Director of Growth Marketing and will have direct reports.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of online and offline events, conferences, and hosted events within the Human Resources, Learning and Development and Coaching industry.

How will I make an impact ?

Work cross functionally within marketing to develop all international trade and events strategy plans ensuring they deliver on building both brand awareness for Ezra and generating leads.

Evaluate the effectiveness of various trade sponsorships and client events to determine our strategy and ROI quarterly Plan and execute various events, including conferences, webinars, and hosted events Manage and supervise a team of 2 direct reports, ensuring they are meeting their goals and objectives Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure events align with company goals and objectives Implement Event Experience (XM) tactics to create memorable Brand experiences Develop and implement event marketing strategies to increase attendance and engagement Manage the registration process and attendee communications Manage the negotiation and communication with all our international trade and event partners and ensure KPIs are tracked and met quarterly Co-creating and piloting local initiatives and event activations to capitalize on unique in-market opportunities and develop best practices for the other markets Lead the development of global event reports that summarize leads, awareness, and the associated revenue Collaborate with internal teams and act as a liaison with the sales, operations, business intelligence to assist in developing customer-focused, market-leading sales and marketing collateral when required Work with the CMO, Research and Sales teams to secure speaker slots, sponsorships and submit award entries Working alongside the Global marketing team, develop content directed at our core audiences, leveraging our trade activity and represent Ezra at events across social media channels Working with cross functionally to secure strategy and development of materials and events that support our strategic clients and drive business Managing cost control on your projects and delivering them within budget Managing other marketing projects as assigned What you bring to this role: You have: 8 years in a similar role with a B2B company Proven track record of event strategy, negotiation, and management to drive revenue Deep understanding of logistics and management all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, vendor selection, and event promotion Events Experience (XM) Knowledge of digital marketing and deep understanding of how Events integrate with other marketing tactics (including content, email marketing, landing pages, social, paid) Experience with executing webinars and virtual events University degree or equivalent in marketing, media or digital Excellent storytelling and both verbal and written skills are table stakes Strong project management skills Working and communicating with senior level stakeholders both internally and externally Working in cross cultural environments with an ability to operate on their own, as part of a team and globally (preferred) Knowledge of the HR and L&D industry an asset Flexible hours may be required to manage projects across regions / time zone Team player, passionate, collaborative Team leader, great a coaching and cascading goals What we offer Your own world class coach Regular team social events Flexible working hours Contribution to a wellbeing app (think meditation, fitness, sleep) A weekly wellbeing hour and much more Competitive benefit package Global leading organization We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to having a thriving, diverse team where everyone has a voice and feels able to be themselves.
