Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely.
  • Coordinate a cycle count program in a perpetual inventory environment.
  • Coordinate the cycle count progress and results to identify necessary recounts and processes to be monitored and provide regular reports on the results
  • Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and supply possible solutions.
  • Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures in an effort to proactively optimize overall location and item level accuracy and maintain the highest possible productivity levels.
  • Coordinate the efforts of the cycle counts in an effort to identify and correct discrepancies on items at the location level as needed.
  • Responsible for ensuring TRANS4M system inventory integrity. This includes:

– Weekly cycle counts on all production parts as per Cycle Count Schedule.

– The calculation of WIP,RAW & FINISHED GOODS cycle count accuracy on a monthly basis.

– Printing and analyzing the “Negative Inventory” report daily.

Key Responsibilities cont’d
  • Communicates and assists production personnel to resolve incorrect data entries or inventory discrepancies.
  • Tracks disagreements, graphs history, and publishes measurement results.  Generates, distributes, and files Inventory Reports.
  • Coordinates Cycle Count scheduling with Cycle Counters. Responsible for maintaining and issuing cycle count sheet masters to Cycle Counters. 
  • Responsible for root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective actions to avoid re-occurrence.
  • Comply with Section 28 of the OHSA.
  • Adhere to all rules and regulations as outlined in the Rollstamp Employee Handbook and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Adhere to all applicable Business Operating Systems Procedures.
  • Any other reasonable request made by Management.

 

Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • College or University graduate or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of production functions & inventory control
  • Automotive manufacturing background as well as familiarity with Automotive MRP Systems Inventory Control, Production Reporting.
  • Minimum of two years related experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with personal computers and Microsoft software.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude, good organizational skills and good English communication skills required (verbal and written).
