You’ll work remotely for most of the time, but will be required to be in the office on occasion; therefore, candidates must be located in the Lower Mainland.

You will lead a team of administrators, so prior leadership experience is required.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client is a busy accounting firm in Richmond.

As the Office Manager you will get to work with all levels of the firm, lead a team of administrators, interact with clients directly and effectively manage office operations.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY The Office Manager is responsible for the smooth running of this busy office.

You will handle general administration responsibilities in addition to facilities and operational needs.

The Office Manager will work directly with leadership and provide direction to further enhance and create efficiencies and procedures to enable employees and clients to effectively utilize the available tools.

You will work directly with the IT provider and be the communication liaison to support employee technical challenges.

You will provide the administration required to facilitate implementing more effective process solutions.

Furthermore, you will be an integral part in the smooth operations of this busy office.

The position is remote for the most part, from time to time you will need to be in the office, and no this is not negotiable, therefore you must be located in BC in a location where you can get to the office on short notice (within an hour or two).

ABOUT THE POSITION Responsible for vendor management.

Responsible for managing office workflow, ensures that employees are entering client information correctly.

Manages CRM, ensures that client information is being properly tracked and billed.

Manages client information, keeps client files up to date.

Handles all facilities related responsibilities.

Provides administrative support to leadership.

Responsible for communications
– memos and general correspondence.

Main point of contact for any IT related challenges, works closely with IT provider to resolve issues.

Identifies areas for efficiency improvements, develops processes and procedures and implements changes and new programs.

Assists clients with tech issues
– logging in, chasing missing information, following up and scheduling appointments and meetings.

THE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor Degree or Post Secondary degree or diploma.

3 years of experience in an Office Manager role; 1 year of leadership/supervisory experience.

Must be a self-starter, accountable and prior track record of reliability, meeting deadlines and following through.

Strong technical abilities.

Prior experience working with IT providers to troubleshoot challenges is preferred.

Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, with a diverse employee group.

Prior experience in the professional services, finance and accounting is an asset.

COMPENSATION Annual salary $60,000
– $70,000.
