As a Senior Executive Director your typical day will impact in the following ways: Acts as a change agent, brand and culture champion to ensure that all team members within the care community/region or geographic area foster positive team member experience and customer relations.

Coaches and Mentors new and existing Executive Directors through sharing best practices.

Operates on a more strategic level with greater leadership experience and with enterprise wide impact.

Key resource for strategic organizational projects or involved improving organizational processes/policies regionally or corporately Support other LTC homes in coverage or help trouble shoot issues at other LTC Communities Acts as a Change Agent Oversees the recruitment, employee and labour relations, payroll and benefits, orientation, occupational and non-occupational injury/illness, performance management, training, education and other people related functions within the Care Community.

Monitors preferred accommodation to ensure maximum revenue, ensuring that measures are taken to facilitate optimal occupancy and occupancy numbers Responds promptly to concerns of residents and family members, mediating a satisfactory response to concerns and implements action plans.

Ensures compliance with all relevant legislation including but not limited to: Ministry Acts, regulations, policies and procedures, directives, & collective agreements.

Provides financial leadership by managing budgets and monitoring long-term strategic fiscal plans, including participating in the development of the annual operating budget, ensuring sufficient resources/equipment are available through budget preparation, maintenance and the hiring of appropriate and adequate staffing levels, and monitoring the effectiveness of operational activities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Must haves: Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).

Must possess excellent supervisory and leadership abilities to manage complex Care Communities.

Strong ability and willingness to manage different projects in a deadline driven environment.

Strong problem solving and relationship building skills.

• Post-secondary degree (3 years’) or post-secondary diploma (2 years’) in Health or Social Services, having completed the Long Term Care Administration program
• Must have 5 years’ managerial or supervisory experience in the Health or Social Services industry, with 3 year Long Term Care experience Sound knowledge of Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2022 and Ontario Regulation 246/22
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills required.

• Strong working knowledge of the Internet and MS Office, specifically Excel and Word.

• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.

• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check.
