How You’ll Make an Impact Reporting to the Sr.

Vice President of Global Sales, the Sr.

Director of Commercial Process and Sales Operations ensures the sales organization has the processes and discipline in place for successful and predictive execution.

The role is important to provide the sales team with adequate support and access to deep customer insights and commercial analytics to support our ability to meet customer needs, develop strong customer intimacy across Azenta portfolio and make business decisions.

The insights provided by this leader, working in close collaboration across commercial, IT, finance and business units’ teams, will inform Sales choices, investments, customer needs, and in turn, fuel our growth.

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be a key member of the sales leadership team, with deep customer and commercial landscape process knowledge and insights.

This leader will be working in collaboration and partnership to establish systems, process, drive improvements and data analytics to measure commercialization effectiveness and provide insights as strategic levers for the organization to improve and scale.

We are looking for someone that can bring a diverse perspective and be able to draw on previous experiences.

This role will sit within the Global Sales organization and can be based remotely, with preference in US.

What You’ll Do… Lead and facilitate the development and management of sales growth initiatives with sales regional leaders to achieve annual targets, and strategic plan objectives.

Develop and continuously improve processes within Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and other business unit organizations as needed.

Link business needs and opportunities to continuous improvement funnel and develop a roadmap to close gaps, install/improve processes, and sustain results.

Leverage a solid understanding of commercial fundamentals combined with key commercial processes such as Funnel Management, Transformative Marketing, and Growth Rooms/Daily Management to achieve goals.

Use data to provide insight to support sales actions and investment decisions to drive growth.

Define and establish sales analytics to provide regular reporting capabilities to measure commercial effectiveness and actions required Establish data analysis to provide predictive insights at all functions and businesses of the organization to establish actions to improve and accelerate performance Acts as an advocate for data-driven decision making across all commercial leadership and business levels of the organization Collaborate with IT and Finance and other business stakeholders to define systems and analytics capabilities Partner with Regional and Global Sales stakeholders to provide analytics support to facilitate data-driven decision making, performance measurement, and tracking of key business metrics Partner with other functions across the company to oversee sales data governance to ensure sales has access to improve execution by gaining deeper understanding of team execution, markets, customers, and competitors Partners with key Region and Global Sales stakeholders to ensure organization provide analytics support for the development of scorecards, KPIs, channel analytics, and ad hoc analysis Ensures one comprehensive and accurate ‘source of truth’ for all data sets used by the commercial organization What You Will Bring… Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred; data sciences preferred 10 years of business intelligence and/or sales or commercial operations/leadership Strong knowledge of predictive modeling, statistics, or proven experience translating big data into actionable outcomes Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.

Experience facilitating or participating in commercial process kaizen events.

Demonstrated ability to drive measurable business results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders Change management and continuous improvement capabilities including experience in a matrix team environment using a structure approach.
